It was November the 13th
It was supposed to be a good day, was hearing good news from work, family and friends, and was happy despite the early ceremony to honor Armando (Choco), the brave journalist killed one year ago here just because he was doing the right thing writing about the non-sense violence we live here in Juarez.
The day seemed great, wrote some essays, finally took some time to work on the pictures have been taken, getting ready to enjoy the long holiday weekend here, maybe watch the boxing fight, making plans to use an open airplane ticket bought a while ago that haven't used yet and visit relatives and friends in Mexico City, hearing from friends and how great they are doing...It was becoming a great day...Almost at the end of work was hearing of something that was happening at a Public Hospital near my workplace where some people violently irrupted trying to end the lives of other people injured early, heard all the sirens and then dozens of police running, frightened people running, but they capture those criminals, finally, something didn't end bad...I thought...God I was so wrong...

...just when I was heading towards my car received a phone called, it was my boss telling me that Alfonso Martinez Lujan was killed...Another professor from the University...Back the memories of May when Manuel Arroyo was killed...This time in front of his wife, and again many of my friend were calling trying to find out what is going on...We gather on my house that night to see what action to take again, again the frustration, the anger, the sadness...Then I saw something on the nightly news on TV that really broke my hart and soul, a live image of another execution that just happened...

...Watched a priest friend of mine next to a body covered with a blue blanket...another one...but this one was a 7 year old kid killed along with his father...and the priest broke in tears...I broke in tears and almost everyone in the room...
